SenseMaking from the Web is a curated list of recent articles I’ve read and thought worth sharing with my subscribers. I’ve automated this but the curation, which is a discerning process, is all human. I’ve added some commentary.
This week the focus is predominantly on the next stage of AI adoption and maturity in the enterprise. Agentic AI is a class of artificial intelligence systems designed to act as autonomous agents. They are capable of performing tasks, making decisions, and interacting with their environments without requiring direct human intervention. Their environments can be any source of data a company wants to point the agents to for grounding and reasoning. Also any enterprise systems and platforms (think CRM, ERP, etc.) they can retrieve data from and take actions on.
Think of an agent interrogating data and systems autonomously and finding anomalies or opportunities. And then alerting you to those with best courses of action. Wouldn’t that be great?
