A time to reflect

1–2 minutes

Although I didn’t officially take a break from work over the festive period, it is still a quiet and reflective time. So like many I had some time on my hands and some of the time (when not with family) was spent on reflection and fun. One activity was to prepare a few slides for a talk I am giving to a group of men in a community I am a part of.

While I didn’t want to make it about myself, some form of introduction was needed as some of the attendees wont know me.

Mostly it was a chance to reflect on some of the things I have learned in my lifetime. If any of it (the learning) could be passed on and be of use to others, that would be a cherry on top.

Not that I expect that – see last slide. But if it does resonate in any way, then this post is intended to scale the learning.

Here is the deck (pdf) – mostly just talking points so may not make too much sense without a narrative. At some stage I may share the video recording of the talk – if I do a good enough job.

I had fun creating this, hopefully at the very least, you have some fun consuming it.
