The world of work is again shifting with the advent of AI. Whatever happens, we need to be ready. The winners will combine employee experience + AI.
This page outlines a new trend report I am working on. I am heavily involved in the adoption of new AI technology where I work, Microsoft (disclosure). I work with customers supporting their adoption of AI technology. I also work with them in the employee experience and productivity area, which are key considerations when adopting new technology like AI. That is, how do you engage employees to change the way they work in the face of disruptive new technologies and what impact does this have on their productivity. So I have a seat in the front row, observing this shift as it happens.
This experience will form the basis of a lot of what I share in the trend report, and I will also incorporate learning and research beyond this. It will be informative and actionable. If you are an executive responsible for employees and/or the technologies they use, this report will enable you and get you ready for the challenges ahead.
Building the Human Centric AI Organisation
What’s with HumAIn? It’s not just a play on words. It’s about the synchronicity between humans and AI that will be crucial in the solutions that are designed, if we are to overcome the challenges and leverage the opportunities ahead. Microsoft’s inspired choice of branding with the term Copilot is a case in point. And at work in the enterprise, which is different to consumer adoption of AI technology and is more complex, for AI to work and be applied properly, you need to engage employees in the process.
As all this unfolds, I am writing about it in posts with the HumAIn Trends tag (latest three below) and eventually this will be combined and consolidated into the trend report.
